This Page provides sample posts for various social media platforms, as well as how to upload them.

The sample posts & instructions in this document are complementary to pre-made graphics located in the shared ‘Juneteenth of New Bern 2023 Digital Toolkit’ google drive folder.

To generate buzz for Juneteenth of New Bern while maintaining  marketing continuity.

To provide Similar Hashtags, Graphics, & Messaging. This increases the chance that The Community will remember to attend.  

To offer You/Your respective Organization(s) access to easy to download & post graphics, sample posts, hashtags, etc.

1. Open the google folder ‘Juneteenth of New Bern 2023 Digital Toolkit’ (Link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1IhQXijmD3pO-XMD5akelK6bI4K1dsc3C?usp=sharing)
2. Download by right-clicking an image in the folder to save it onto your desktop. You can also simply drag it onto your desktop.
3. Log on to your favorite social media site, such as Facebook or Twitter.
4. Copy and paste one of the sample messages below (messages are categorized by social media platform) into your status update—or create your own message that includes the #NBJuneteenth hashtag.
5. Upload one of the images saved onto your desktop to accompany your status update.
6. Post your status update and encourage others to join & promote #NBJuneteenth .

Under Create a frame for, choose Profile Picture

Upload the NBJuneteenthFBFrame.png (You can download this from the Digital Toolkit Folder)

Size and adjust it, click Next

Create a name, choose location availability and schedule, click Next

In the top Right corner select the Profile or Page you want to publish your profile frame, Once you submit your frame you won’t be able to change the frame name or owner. Click Publish

Using It:

You can add a frame to your profile picture to show your support for causes, events you’re marked as attending that have frames, your favorite holidays and more.

To add a frame to your profile picture: Go to www.facebook.com/profilepicframes.

Select the NBJuneteenth Frame

Click Use as Profile Picture to save.
